Russia has warned the South Korean government, which is considering responding to North Korea's dispatch, that it will "harshly respond to any measures that could threaten Russian security."

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mariya Zakharova said at a briefing on the 23rd local time, stressing that "we need to think about the possible consequences for Korean security when South Korea participates in the Ukraine conflict."

"The South Korean government's response is embarrassing," Zakharova said of South Korea's announcement of the dispatch of North Korean troops and its countermeasures. "The South Korean government should not play into the 'terrorist regime' of Ukraine."

Zakharova also dismissed reports of North Korea's dispatch, calling it "false, exaggerated information," and avoided answering, saying, "Ask Pyongyang about the location of the North Korean military."

At the same time, he noted that Ukraine has been asking South Korea for weapons of killing, and he said that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea does not cause any damage to South Korea.
