A Chinese national man was arrested for breaking and brandishing a bottle of alcohol to an employee of a convenience store who refused to sell alcohol, asking for ID.

The Suseo Police Station in Seoul arrested a Chinese man in his 20s on charges of special injury on the 22nd.

Mr. A is accused of injuring a man in his 60s by swinging a broken bottle at a convenience store in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, at around 4:50 a.m. the day before yesterday.

It has been confirmed that A took out a bottle of alcohol from the refrigerator, broke it, and swung it at the clerk, saying that he did not sell alcohol when the convenience store clerk asked for identification.

Mr. A was arrested by the police after being dragged and overpowered by a citizen who was passing by a convenience store at the time.

The police applied for an arrest warrant for A, but the court reportedly rejected the warrant on the grounds that there was no fear of escaping.
