The 'Little Prince', which was owned by a professional London bookstore, contains a handwritten correction by the author in the original type manuscript.
The manuscript, along with numerous illustrations drawn by the artist, is a famous phrase of the little prince, "It can be seen clearly from the heart." What matters is invisible to the eye."
The Little Prince is said to have three copies of the rare original, the other two in addition to the manuscript, each held by the Harry Ransom Center in Texas and the National Library of France.
The book was acquired privately earlier this year through a bookstore specializing in rare books and will go on sale in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for at least $1.25 million local time on the 24th.
Saint-Exupery wrote "The Little Prince" while living in exile in the United States to escape the Nazi invasion in 1942, and "The Little Prince" is the world's most translated book except for religious books.
