Singer Jesse is facing public crossfire over the incident in which his fan was assaulted by the group.

Jesse apologized on his Instagram on the afternoon of the 23rd, saying, "Even though it was an incident caused by me, I hurt many people, including the victim, from the time of the incident to the present, and this moment with my wrong actions, attitudes, and stage responses, and made them feel betrayed and angry. If I had taken a picture with the victim, if I had protected the victim more actively, if I had gone to the police station on the spot, and if I had apologized properly, the victim would not have suffered this much."

Earlier on the 29th of last month, Jesse's underage fan asked him to take a photo in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, and was assaulted by a man who was Jesse's party. At the time, Jesse said of the perpetrator, "We are friends with a producer who is not related at all and is close to Jesse. Chinese," he reportedly told police.

At the time of his attendance at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on the 16th, Jesse appeared to draw a line, saying he had met the assailant for the first time, and was at the center of various suspicions. Eventually, Jesse's exclusive contract with his agency was recently terminated.

As Jesse is beleaguered, the intensity of criticism against him is gradually increasing. Jesse also appealed, "The best news is that the news of suicide after taking medicine is good news, so I'll be looking forward to it."

As public criticism against Jessi grows, there are also criticisms that "Jessi's initial response was wrong in the first place," along with the opinion that she should be cautious. In particular, the argument that "it is unfair to blame only Jesse for not catching the perpetrator and not participating in the assault" and the counterargument that "if Jessi had actively cooperated with the investigation from the beginning, she could have already caught the perpetrator."
