Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has dismissed rumors of a feud with Taiwan's TSMC and said it has resolved a flaw in its next-generation artificial intelligence chip, "Blackwell."According to Reuters

, Jensen Huang confessed at a new supercomputer launch event in Denmark that "Blackwell had a design flaw" which resulted in "low yields and 100% Nvidia's fault."

"We have redesigned seven types of semiconductors from scratch to make the Blackwell chipset work," he continued, "and with the help of TSMC, we have been able to overcome yield challenges and resume Blackwell's production at an alarming rate."

There have also been reports of conflicts between Nvidia and TSMC due to delays in Blackwell production, but Jensen Huang has dismissed it as fake news.

Nvidia unveiled Blackwell in March and said it could launch it in the second quarter, but the delay has forced customers including Meta, Alphabet, Google and Microsoft to wait.

Blackwell is a next-generation chip that implements 30 times faster than existing products in tasks such as providing AI chatbot answers.

Jensen Huang told a recent Goldman Sachs-hosted conference that Jensen Huang will launch in the fourth quarter.
