In a comprehensive audit of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee, Minister Cho countered that cooperation between North Korea and Russia will not take place without compensation when Lee Yong-sun of the Democratic Party of Korea pointed out that the war in Ukraine has no direct interest in South Korea.
At the same time, he said, "In the end, it will come back as a threat to our security, but I don't think it's a situation where we can sit idle."
"Our government's mention of the possibility of arms aid to Ukraine is a message that all options are on the table," he said, adding that it was up to North Korea and Russia to do what we would do.
