KAIST mechanical engineering professor Gong Kyung-chul's research team unveiled "Work-On Suit F1," a wearable robot for the paraplegic disabled that can be worn on its own without anyone's help by applying the full-body wearing method.
The suit has the ability to actively adjust the center of gravity, allowing the wearer to maintain balance without falling even if the robot is pushed incorrectly.
In addition, it is equipped with an artificial intelligence control board that implements neural networks and vision recognition performance for obstacle detection for more delicate and stable operation.
