The government has decided to temporarily pay family benefits to people with severe developmental disabilities or rare diseases if their activity support companies are not linked.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare said it will temporarily operate exceptional support for disabled activities by families and family benefits for two years starting next month.

The activity support service for the disabled is a service that supports independence through activity support companies for the disabled who have difficulty in daily life, and in the meantime, the activity support company had to be someone else, not a family member.

However, families who will become activity applicants must complete 50 hours of related training and qualify.
