Police and fire authorities were dispatched after reports of explosives found at a housing construction site in Han River-ro-dong, Seoul, at around 11 a.m. today (24th).

The bullet found is an 81mm diameter mortar shell and is believed to have been used during the Korean War.

Police say it appears to be an unexploded bomb with a low explosive risk and that it has been safely handed over to the Military Explosive Disposal Division (EOD).
