The Seoul Metropolitan Government has started training to prepare for a disaster ahead of the departure of the "Hangang River Bus," which will be Seoul's water transportation from next spring.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to strengthen its response capabilities through more sophisticated training when actual ships are introduced.

Red smoke suddenly rises from a cruise ship sailing on the Han River, and drowning passengers flounder and ask for help.

[Ship announcement: The engine has been suspended due to a fire in the engine room and is drifting near Wonhyo Bridge, with 50 passengers and 4 crew members on board. Please rescue us immediately.]

After a while, 119 rescue teams are dispatched to rescue the drowning passengers, and the Han River police team, which arrived afterwards, escapes the rest of the passengers on the ship.

The fireboat fires a huge water cannon around the cruise ship to extinguish the fire.Assuming that oil leaked due to the explosion in the engine room of

{Han River Bus}, they conducted the same training from lifesaving to fire suppression, oil control, and ship towing.The exercise, which was the first since the '∀'
'Han River Bus' project, mobilized more than 70 people, including 119 rescue teams, the Han River police, and the coast guard, and 20 ships to check the response system to the Han River disaster.

Private cruise ships have been deployed instead of "Han River Bus" ships that are still under construction, and plans to conduct more sophisticated training next year, including hybrid battery fires, with the completed "Han River Bus."

The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to launch two of the eight Han River buses in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, on the 25th of next month, go through a trial voyage, and deliver them to the Han River in Seoul at the end of this year.
