The Democratic Party of Korea, which proposed the third "Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act," has indicated that it is willing to leave room for negotiations with the ruling party over the scope of the investigation.

The special prosecutor's law will be passed quickly within next month, but some say that the ruling camp is in a self-destruction situation and that it is a "gap-chilling" strategy aimed at it.

Reporter Lee Jun-yeop reports.

Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party, said he will consider it as much as possible if the ruling party makes a request for the Kim Gun-hee independent counsel law.In a phone call with YTN, floor leader

Park stressed that there is room for negotiation if it is a proposal that does not deviate from the public's demands on the scope of the special counsel law or the method of recommendation.

In a situation where the dynamics within the ruling party are complicated, such as the so-called "Yoon-Han conflict," the special prosecution law is willing to make concessions if it helps secure a "Leave Vote" that will cross the wall of re-decision.

In particular, he mentioned about 50 "wannabe" lawmakers who are neither close nor pro-Yoon in the ruling party, and argued that they would consider whether they could leave the fate of the conservative to President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Gun-hee, who are "mercenaries."

[Park Chan-dae / Minjoo Party floor leader: The consistent public demand regarding Kim Gun-hee is that she should get an independent counsel. We are not asking you to solve it by appointing a special inspection team in moderation.

The ruling party seems to have been under pressure in earnest as a "tempt" to divide the ruling party, and the special prosecution law will hold a plenary session on the 14th of next month, a day before Lee Jae-myung's first sentence.

Considering the possibility of President Yoon Suk Yeol's exercise of the right to request reconsideration, the plan is to hurry to make a decision by November.

[Jang Kyung-tae / Rep. of Democratic Party of Korea (SBS Radio 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show'): When the president vetoed the Special Prosecutor Act on First Lady Kim and the Special Prosecutor Act on the Marine Corps, it seems that it is a much faster and more certain process than the constitutional amendment.]

The opposition party is also waging an all-round public opinion campaign against Myung Tae-kyun, a key figure in Kim's intervention in nominating and manipulating public opinion polls, asking him to attend the parliamentary audit.

[Park Sung-joon/ Deputy floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea: (The prosecution's investigation) only Myung Tae-kyun becomes a criminal. Kim Gun-hee performed her tricks to the rhythm of Kim Gun-hee, but the power was taken by them and the punishment was received by others.Han Dong-hoon and Lee Jae-myung, who are also considered major variables in the handling of the

Kim Special Prosecutor Act, reportedly have not made progress in working-level negotiations for the meeting between the ruling and opposition parties.

The Democratic Party of Korea seems to be somewhat cautious in preparing strategies such as "flexible response" as the ruling party's internal feud coincides with the "prosecution of the special prosecution" stance.
