The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul said yesterday (23rd) that it is investigating Moon's alleged violation of the Public Health Act before he was booked.
Earlier, Yeongdeungpo-gu recently conducted an on-site investigation into complaints that Moon's officetel near Yeongdeungpo Station in Seoul was used as a lodging facility through a shared lodging platform.
Although the investigation did not confirm whether the accommodation was operated, Yeongdeungpo-gu asked the police to investigate yesterday (23rd), saying it considered the urgency and seriousness of the issue.
Moon has been asked to investigate the police after allegations were raised that he also operated an unreported accommodation in a house in Hallim-eup, Jeju-si.
To operate an officetel as a shared lodging facility, you must report it to the district office in charge of the facilities and facilities prescribed by the Public Health Act.
