ETRI, the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, said Moby's software, which can be easily used by non-professionals in the form of an application, has won the main prize at the U.S. IDEA Design Award.
Moby is a combination of a mobile robot and a robot arm for work, and it was developed to direct two robots to map, create a path, and work with one software.
The researchers later explained that they plan to apply easy-to-access software to quadruped walking robots and humanoid robots so that human-robot collaboration can be strengthened.
