Mobile cooperative robots developed by domestic researchers and control software for "Moby" have won two of the world's top three design awards.

ETRI, the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, said Moby's software, which can be easily used by non-professionals in the form of an application, has won the main prize at the U.S. IDEA Design Award.

Moby is a combination of a mobile robot and a robot arm for work, and it was developed to direct two robots to map, create a path, and work with one software.

The researchers later explained that they plan to apply easy-to-access software to quadruped walking robots and humanoid robots so that human-robot collaboration can be strengthened.
