The People's Power filed a complaint with the National Assembly Ethics Committee against Choi Min-hee, the head of the Science and Defense Department of the Democratic Party of Korea, whose controversy over "gapjil" arose at the parliamentary audit.

The Democratic Party of Korea held a rally to condemn Rep. Han Ki-ho, a member of the People's Power who sent a text message to Shin Won-sik, head of the National Security Office, saying, "Bombing the North Korean Army."

In the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, a war of nerves broke out between Chairman Choi Min-hee of the Democratic Party and Representative Choi Soo-jin of the People's Power.

[Choi Soo-jin / People's Power: Why do you deprive me of my right to speak? It's not like I didn't ask you questions, but you're operating it too biased.]

[Choi Min-hee / Chief of Science and Defense, Minjoo Party: Apologize. [Then we'll give you the right to speak]

When Choi mentioned the results of a civic group survey that Choi's remarks at the parliamentary audit once accounted for 20% of all members, Choi clashed demanding an apology.

The parliamentary inspection has been suspended several times as lawmakers of the People's Power put up signs protesting, calling it "dictatorship."

As a result, the People's Power filed a complaint against Chairman Choi to the National Assembly Ethics Committee at the party level and even announced legal action.

[Choo Kyung-ho / People's Power Floor Leader: I think it is an abuse of authority. I'm currently doing a legal review....]

On the other hand, the Democratic Party of Korea launched a counterattack against Han Ki-ho, a member of the People's Power who sent a so-called "hit by North Korean troops" text to Shin Won-sik, head of the National Security Office.

"Are you trying to move the flames of the Russia-Ukraine war to Seoul?" he said, calling for the expulsion of Han to the power of the people.

[Lee Jae-myung / Minjoo Party leader: Are you trying to bring the war crisis in this area to our Korean Peninsula?]

The Democratic Party defined Han's text as a "new north wind drive" and held a condemnation contest to argue that Shin Won-sik should also be dismissed immediately.

In response, the People's Power countered that the Democratic Party cannot properly criticize the Kim Jong-un regime, which sends its soldiers as bullet supporters, and that private conversations should not be distorted into official positions and used for political strife.

The first parliamentary audit of the 22nd National Assembly will end on the 1st of next month and the National Assembly Steering Committee will end.

However, as the ruling and opposition parties continued their extreme confrontation until the end, it seems inevitable to point out that they have moved away from the policy inspection and public welfare inspection.
