The Sangal Police Station of Yongin Dongbu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province secured the whereabouts of a woman in her 40s who was wanted for not paying a fine worth 1 million won near Giheung Station at around 5 p.m. yesterday (24th).
Mr. A was escorted to the police station and drank a drink he had, and it was found that it was mixed with pesticides.
The woman was taken to a hospital, but it is known that there are no major health problems because the insecticide in the drink is not toxic and the amount of alcohol consumed is small.
A police official explained that A was not handcuffed because he was in a psychologically unstable state and there was no fuss or threatening situation, and he could not confirm the presence of pesticides with the naked eye.
In this regard, the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency plans to find circumstantial evidence that some employees violated the regulations and conduct an inspection investigation.
