This weekend, when the flash cold has receded, it is warm, exceeding the average temperature during the day.

However, there will be many days in November next month where the temperature changes will be as big as a few days ago.

Preparation is important as your chances of getting lung disease increase.

Reporter Kim Min-kyung's report.

[Reporter]
After a day of flash cold, the temperature has returned to its place.

The morning temperature in Seoul, which fell to 7.1 degrees Celsius the day before yesterday, was 8.7 degrees Celsius, similar to the average year, and rose to 21.5 degrees Celsius in the middle of the day, exceeding the previous year's temperature by about 3 degrees.

[Kim Soo-jung / Jiksan-eup, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan] It was so cold, but I came out because the weather suddenly got warm, but I'm also worried about my baby's cold as the weather changes significantly these days.]

If you look at the recent temperature changes, you can feel the weather like a roller coaster.

As of Seoul, the lowest temperature on the 22nd was 14.9 degrees.

However, it went down 10 degrees on the 23rd and dropped to 7.1 degrees on the 24th.

It fell about 8 degrees in two days.

On Saturday and Sunday, it will rain only on Jeju Island and the south, and the weather will continue to be warmer than usual, but the daily temperature difference will still be large.

[Kim Dong-soo / Meteorological Agency forecaster: With higher-than-normal temperatures over the weekend, especially on Saturday the 26th, daytime temperatures will rise to around 20 degrees inland, and the temperature difference between day and night will be around 10 degrees, so please take care of your health.]

However, large temperature changes reduce immunity, making it easy to get in-between seasons diseases such as colds.

[Kim Ji-hye/Professor of Family Medicine at Severance Hospital: In this season of high temperature changes, the risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or infectious diseases caused by exposure to various viruses and bacteria increases. It will be very helpful to drink lukewarm or warm water frequently to maintain the humidity of the bronchial tubes.]

As the Korea Meteorological Administration predicts that temperatures will often change rapidly due to the influence of mobile high pressure until November, special attention should be paid to health care for the time being.
