Korean compatriots are walking lightly with a bag of rice, a box of ramen, and a container of kimchi in their arms.

This is the site of sharing daily necessities prepared by the Hamburg Korean Association for the elderly.

This is the result of profits from selling kimchi made by oneself and donations made by compatriots.

The Hamburg Korean Association, which was started in 1964 by more than 50 dispatched miners, nurses, international students, and businessmen!

The Hamburg Korean Association, which has grown to more than 400 members, has celebrated its 60th anniversary.

As today's event is a meaningful year, it is a place where men and women of all ages have become one.

[Bang Mi-seok / President of Hamburg Korean Association: A lot of people from all over Hamburg who liked Korean culture and Korean food gathered and held a festival together. Many of you brought your family and friends, so as you can see, about 500 people gathered. There are people who couldn't come in because there were no seats, and the food ran out.]

As if to inform you that the event ended in a great success, there is plenty of sponsorship.

The donations of compatriots' hearts also went to neighboring Ukrainian refugees caught up in the war.

Tens of thousands of Ukrainians are said to live in Hamburg alone.

Ukrainian refugees have also thanked the Korean community for their help.

[Karyna Janko / Representative of the German-Ukrainian Cooperation Association: I am very happy that the Hamburg Korean Association collected donations and delivered them to the Consulate General of Ukraine. Thank you very much for your financial support for Ukraine.]

The Hamburg Korean community has opened a place of sharing not only for senior Koreans but also for neighboring countries.

The Hamburg Korean Community is determined to show the presence of the Korean Association once again with the kimchi festival scheduled for November.
