The two candidates are in conflict over illegal immigration, one of the key issues in the U.S. presidential election.

Former President Trump accused the U.S. of becoming a trash can because of illegal immigrants, and Vice President Harris countered that Trump interfered with solving the problem.

In addition, many U.S. citizens who were open to immigration responded negatively to the fact that facilities such as hotels were provided as immigrant accommodation.

Former President Trump has dug into anti-immigrant sentiment, saying the Biden-Harris administration's sloppy management of the border has led to a surge in illegal immigrants.

He also announced a message that he hoped to win New York, which was occupied by immigrants.

On the other hand, Vice President Kamala Harris, the daughter of immigrants, says the Biden administration's comprehensive border control strengthening legislation could have strengthened border management.

However, Trump, who told him not to propose the bill but to discard it, blamed him for being a disruptor.

As the presidential election day approaches, the importance of immigration seems to be growing.

In a CNBC poll two weeks before the U.S. presidential election, immigration was mentioned as the fourth most important issue after jobs, taxes and trust in the government.

In American society, immigrants bring about crime and job conflicts, but they contribute to the supply of manpower and have two-sided attributes that support the economy.

It is of interest to the presidential election whether American voters will pay more attention to either side of this immigration.
