According to the Korea National Oil Corporation's oil price information system Opinet, the average gasoline price at gas stations nationwide rose 1.5 won to 1,593.1 won in the fourth week of October from the previous week.
Seoul, which has the highest price, was 1,660.8 won, down 0.9 won from the previous week, and Daegu, which has the lowest price, was 1,555.9 won, up 2.1 won from the previous week.
International oil prices fell a little this week, falling for a second week, but they are likely to rebound due to worsening conditions in the Middle East, including Israel's attack on Iran.
