iran's state television "airports near capital tehran operating normally"

Early this morning, several explosions were heard in and around the Iranian capital, Tehran, but the airports were operating normally, local media said.

Iranian state television reported on Wednesday local time that operations at airports in Tehran, particularly Imam Khomeini International Airport and Mehrabad International Airport, were "normal."

Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airport said the airport was operating normally and operating without disruption according to the scheduled schedule.
