A 3-ton fishing boat caught fire in the sea near Eulmi Island, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, at around 8 a.m. today (26th).

Two crew members were rescued by a nearby fishing boat, and the Coast Guard put out the fire within an hour and towed the fishing boat on fire to a nearby port.

The Taean maritime police believe the fire started due to overheating of the engine during operation.
