While the official response from the Iranian government has yet to come out, Iranian media said "Iran is ready to respond to Israeli attacks."

Biden administration officials have urged Iran to refrain from retaliating, saying the Israeli attack should be the last of the direct fighting between the two countries.

He added that the U.S. authorities have clearly communicated this position through various direct and indirect communication channels with Iran.
