Ukrainian rescue officials say two people, including a teenage girl, were killed and five others were injured when a Russian drone struck a high-rise apartment building in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, early Wednesday local time.
Kyiv city officials said, "The 17th to 21st floors of the apartment building were damaged, fire broke out on the 20th floor, and more than 100 residents were evacuated."
A Russian missile strike also killed four people and injured at least 20 others in Dnipro, a metropolis in central Ukraine.
Local media said several major cities were bombed simultaneously, damaging a medical institution and four apartments.
