In the era of high prices, the burden of lunch money for office workers is increasing.

Therefore, more office workers bring lunch boxes and inexpensive convenience food products are becoming more popular.

Ulsan Central Broadcasting Station reporter Ra Kyung-hoon reports.

At lunchtime, three office workers take out their home-packed lunch boxes.

I started eating lunch with my own lunch box from this year.

This is because the amount of money spent on lunch is not big.

[Moon So-hyun / Office worker: I started to pack lunch since January this year because I felt the price increase, but now that I eat lunch like this, I think it's good to take care of my health]

At lunchtime, office workers gather one by one at a food section of a large supermarket in Ulsan.

This is because various types of home-cooked lunch boxes can be purchased at a low price.

[Kim Min Gi / Office worker: I was going to go to the convenience store at lunchtime, but there are cheaper products than convenience stores, so I'm trying to come and eat because there are a lot of things to eat]

Food packed for one person here is priced at 4,000 won to 5,000 won, which is relatively cheaper than restaurants.

In fact, sales of lunch boxes cooked at a large mart in Ulsan increased last month compared to the same month last year.

As there were many people looking for it, we also increased the types of lunch boxes.

In fact, seven out of 10 office workers responded that they try to reduce their lunch prices, while a survey showed that lunch prices for office workers are 10,000 won per person.

Office workers, who have become burdened with lunch prices due to soaring prices, are each trying to make their meals a little cheaper.
