Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris joins former President Barack Obama's wife Michelle Obama on the campaign trail in Michigan.
The Associated Press reported that Harris is conducting a joint campaign with high-ranking officials to boost turnout among Democratic supporters.
Harris and Michelle Obama will appeal for support together in southwestern Michigan's Kalamazoo, where early voting takes place, marking the first time Michelle Obama has campaigned for Harris.
Earlier at this year's Democratic National Convention, Michelle Obama criticized former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, for increasing ugly, misogynistic and racist lies.
