Israel has released videos and photos showing a large number of fighter jets in Iranian airstrikes.

The Israeli military has met retaliatory targets, including Iran's missile manufacturing facilities, and warned it could hit additional targets if necessary.

[Daniel Hagari / Israeli military spokesman: Everyone who wants to threaten the state of Israel and lead the region to a greater escalation will pay a harsh price.]

The New York Times reported that the S-300 air defense missile facility at the international airport in Tehran, the capital of Iran, was one of the targets.

Israel has denied some reports that it has avoided attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities or oil facilities because of U.S. pressure.

Israel's retaliatory attacks have seen the West defend itself as a "rightful right to self-defense," while Arab countries have been divided in their positions, calling it a "violation of sovereignty."

However, everyone is urging both sides to refrain and is wary of escalation.

[Joe Biden / President of the United States] It seems they (Israel) have not hit anywhere other than military targets. I hope this is the end.]

The flight path of Israeli warplanes that bombed military facilities throughout Iran is also of interest.

The distance from Israel to Tehran, Iran, is approximately 1,600 km in a straight line,

The shortest flight must pass through Jordan, Syria, and Iraq's airspace.

On social media, there were claims that "a Jordanian fighter jet was observed," but no country has officially confirmed its acquiescence through airspace.

In a related development, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces claimed that Israeli warplanes fired long-range air-to-ground missiles from U.S. military jurisdiction in Iraq.

He stressed that many of these missiles were shot down and enemy aircraft were blocked from entering Iranian airspace.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi said there was "no limit to protecting the people" and that he would continue to stand up to Israel.
