Yoon Byung-ho, a cast member of the hip-hop audition program "High School Rapper 2," was sentenced to prison for taking drugs at a detention center while on trial for taking drugs.

The Suwon District Court sentenced Yoon to eight months in prison and two years of probation on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

The court said the nature of drug use in detention centers while on trial for similar crimes was not good.

Yoon was sentenced to seven years in prison for buying or administering drugs such as hemp and fentanyl for a year and a half from January 2018.

Yoon was additionally charged with administering psychotropic drugs containing zolpidem ingredients at the Incheon Detention Center in August 2022, when the trial was underway.
