Inside the power of the people, internal strife is intensifying over a solution to quell the controversy over Mrs.

The Democratic Party of Korea has repeatedly pressed President Yoon Suk Yeol to accept the special prosecution law, asking him to choose between the people and First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

I'll connect you to the National Assembly reporter.

Reporter Kim Da-yeon, please tell us the atmosphere of the ruling party first.

Opinions are divided within the ruling party ahead of a general meeting of lawmakers to discuss the "promotion of a special inspector" that inspects relatives of the president.

CEO Han Dong-hoon believes that the special inspector is the solution to quell the controversy over Kim Gun-hee.

As the results of the first trial of Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea will be released next month, the purpose is to resolve the controversy quickly in order to secure the leadership of the political situation before then.

In a phone call with YTN, a close ally said, "If you say you oppose the special inspector, you will face a backlash from public opinion," adding, "The ball is now over to the pro-Yoon Seok-yeol system."

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, who serves as chairman of the general assembly of lawmakers, believes it is not too late to hold a parliamentary audit after it is officially over.

Regardless of the timing of the general meeting of lawmakers, there is a backlash that the special inspector should not be pushed separately, especially by pro-Yoon-gye.

The special inspector said that the party's negotiation strategy has been to proceed in combination with the recommendation of directors of the North Korean Human Rights Foundation, which the Democratic Party feels burdened with, but it should not be pushed arbitrarily.

Until now, it has been customary to approve the general meeting of lawmakers with applause, but the possibility of voting for and against the special inspector is being discussed as there is a wide gap.

Let's also look at the Democratic Party situation.

The Democratic Party is emphasizing the promotion of a special prosecutor, not a special inspector, right?

The Democratic Party has not given up its will to the "special prosecutor" by watching the people's powerhouse fight over the "special inspector," or "special prosecutor."

Spokesman Han Min-soo said at a press conference at the National Assembly a little while ago, referring to President Yoon Suk Yeol's low approval rating, and pressed the president to choose between the Korean people and First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

At the same time, he reiterated that the only way out is to accept the independent counsel law.

The Democratic Party plans to focus on the issue of First Lady Kim and highlight the legitimacy of the special prosecution in the National Assembly's audit of the presidential office on Friday.

On Saturday, he even announced an outdoor rally.

Representative Lee is facing a first trial on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act on the 15th of next month and perjury on the 25th.

Therefore, the Democratic Party of Korea is determined to hold a plenary session on the 14th, the day before the first trial's sentence, and pass the Kim Special Prosecutor Act.

Many view the offensive as a public opinion battle to turn the public's eyes away from the judicial risks of representative Lee Jae-myung.
