A car fire broke out near Dongseoul Tollgate on the Jungbu Expressway in Sangsangok-dong, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 6:25 p.m. yesterday (27th) and was extinguished in 40 minutes.
All the cars were burned in the fire, but all three members of the family, including a male driver in his 30s, were evacuated and no one was injured.
Fire authorities believe the fire started in the engine room and are investigating the cause.
