Lee Sung-joon, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's press office, said in a regular briefing today that it is not worth confirming North Korea's unilateral claims regarding the appearance of drones over Pyongyang.
North Korea has threatened safety by infiltrating multiple drones into our airspace more than a dozen times over the past decade, but it is absurd to insist on the deterrent of the enemy without reflecting on this.
In a statement, Kim Yo-jong, the vice chairman of the ruling Workers' Party, said, "I want to see what happens if drones appear over Seoul, and warned that if North Korean drones penetrate, they will take appropriate measures to protect the safety of the people."
