◇Anchor> The case to be dealt with this time is also shocking. A missing son was found years later in a small room?

◆Lim Joo-hye> That's right. It's very shocking. The father reported his son missing because he couldn't see him. Nevertheless, his son's whereabouts were unknown. It was May 2023. An acquaintance who visited his father's house opened a small visit and found a white bone body there. When I proceeded with the report and checked on this part, the white bone body was the son of the landlord who was reported missing. However, looking at the time of death, it was found in May 2023, and it was confirmed that it died at least in April 2019. That's why it was already a hundred goals.

◇Anchor> It's been about 4 years, right?

◆Lim Joo-hye> That's right. In this regard, the prosecution left the father at home even after he recognized the death of his son. So, the trial was conducted on this part of the charge of abandoning the body. In the end, it is such a matter that was found not guilty in this regard.

◇Anchor> So, what was the reason the prosecution judged that the son was presumed to have made an extreme choice four years ago, and that he neglected it even though his father found it?

◆ Lim Joo-hye> There was no sign of murder. It was found to be a white bone body, but there was no sign of murder, and the prosecution cannot confirm the motive of the father's killing his son, but the prosecution's claims make it too doubtful. Once the body decomposes, it inevitably stinks. How come you haven't been in a small room for four years? The prosecution argued that it was nonsense to not know that the son's body was here when you entered the room or smell, but the court fully acknowledged that it was difficult to find such a body because the house where he lived was full of trash and recyclable materials. Because other acquaintances who visited this house also stated that they didn't feel any of the stench or anything like this. And crucially, he was acquitted of the charge of abandonment of the body in the first trial on the grounds that no trace of murder could be found and that the father did not find any incentive to kill his son.

◇Anchor> The prosecution filed an appeal against the ruling of the first trial, but what will be the issue during the appeal trial?

◆Lim Joo-hye> There seems to be something suspicious. How did you fail to find out? And even after the discovery of the white bone body in May 2023, the father refused to take over the body, so the funeral was carried out without any connection. There are aspects that are so difficult to understand on the common sense basis that the prosecution is expected to focus on proving this part of the appeal trial whether it was really not aware of the fact that the body was left in the house, whether there was any possibility of recognizing it at all, or whether it was deliberately neglected or hiding something.
