Earlier, a media outlet reported allegations that at least eight of the Future Korea Research Institute's non-public opinion polls conducted from May to September 2021 were fabricated by inflating the number of respondents to create "fake samples."
In response, Myung asked the YTN reporters again why the related recording was not disclosed if Kang Hye-kyung inflated the number of respondents.
Kang then claimed to have done everything under Myung's own direction, but refuted the claim to the effect that he was not involved, saying that he only released a recording of suspected manipulation, not actual evidence of manipulation.
However, Kang's previous recordings, saying, "Make 2,000 samples of opinion polls" or "Raise the number of young people's responses," reiterated the previous claim that he was required to correct a closed poll error that only he referred to.
Myeong also said several people, including former Rep. Kim Young-sun, were at the Future Korea Research Institute's office in the claim that the Future Korea Research Institute's closed poll was discussed at the Yoon Suk Yeol candidate camp on the day of the presidential election.
He then explained that although he doesn't remember well, he rarely sent unofficial polls outside.
