Today's meeting of the Steering Committee of the Council of Representatives for Im Hyun-taek's Impeachment Agenda

The steering committee of the Korean Medical Association's delegates will hold an extraordinary meeting this evening to vote on the agenda of no confidence in Chairman Lim Hyun-taek and the establishment of an emergency committee.

If the agenda is resolved, it is expected to hold an extraordinary general meeting of the House of Representatives on the 10th of next month and hold a vote on the agenda.In the case of a non-confidence motion of the chairman

, two-thirds of the 246 delegates will attend and two-thirds of the delegates will approve it, and Chairman Lim will immediately lose his position.

Earlier in August, the medical association's delegates voted on the establishment of an emergency committee in connection with the block of increasing the number of medical schools, but 131 out of 189 participants opposed it and rejected it.
