The U.N. Security Council convened an early morning meeting on the 30th local time and tomorrow (31st) at our time regarding the North Korean military's move to dispatch troops to Russia.

The UN Swiss delegation, which is the chair of the Security Council, announced the convocation plan, saying, "Ukraine has demanded a meeting with the support of South Korea, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and Japan."

The meeting is expected to discuss various concerns of the international community regarding the possibility of North Korea transferring military technology from Russia in exchange for dispatch.

Ukraine fears the war could drag on due to the deployment of North Korean troops, and Western countries, including the United States, observe that the war could escalate into a camp confrontation between the West and authoritarian countries.

In the meantime, Russia called for a meeting of the Security Council to discuss Western arms deliveries to Ukraine and the consequences for the prospects for a peaceful resolution of the situation.
