Arrest charges against employee of warehouse store for '6.8 billion in cash stolen'

A warehouse manager suspected of stealing 4 billion won in cash stored in a rental warehouse has been put on trial.

The Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office arrested a man in his 40s yesterday (29th) on charges of night-time room intrusion.

Mr. A is accused of stealing about 4 billion won in cash from a rental warehouse near Jamsil Station in Seoul between around 7 p.m. on the 12th of last month and 1:20 a.m. the next day.

During the arrest, the police seized KRW 4.01 billion in cash that Mr. A had, and are checking the exact amount of damage and the source of the funds based on the reporter's statement that KRW 6.8 billion disappeared.
