According to the results of the 2024 Autumn Cabbage and Non-cultivation Area Survey released by the National Statistical Office, the cultivation area of radish this fall is 5,3 hectares, down 19.4% from last year.

This is the smallest level since the relevant statistics were tallied in 1975.

The National Statistical Office explained that the cultivation area decreased from July to September due to the sowing season and bad weather.

The general radish is 4,174 hectares, down 21.8% from last year, and the total radish is 829 hectares, down 4.7%.

This fall's cabbage cultivation area was 12,998 hectares, down 1.2% from last year.

This is the smallest level in five years since 2019.

The National Statistical Office analyzed that bad weather from July to September, the official period of cabbage, affected it.
