The Jeonju District Court sentenced 28-year-old Jin, who was arrested and charged with sexual assault and attempted murder under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act, to 30 years in prison and ordered him to attach a location tracking electronic device for 25 years.
The court revealed the reason for the sentencing that Jin committed the crime twice in search of the target and fled home even though the victim, who was left in the cold weather, was very likely to die.
Jin was put on trial on charges of assaulting two women in their 20s, including assaulting two women in their 20s, at a university district in Jeonju in the early morning of April 10.
Jin was sentenced to five years in prison for similar crimes in the past, and he committed another crime not long after serving five years in prison.
