U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will watch the vote count in Washington, DC and Florida, respectively, during the presidential election on the 5th of next month.

Vice President Harris will be at Howard University in Washington, D.C., on the night of the election, congressional media outlet The Hill reported.

Howard University is a professional education institution established for black people before the enforcement of the Civil Rights Act, which bans racism, and is seen as a move to emphasize the identity of Vice President Harris, who is of Asian descent and black in the presidential election.

Former President Trump is expected to be in Palm Beach, Florida, where his residence Mar-a-Lago resort is located on election day.

Trump is likely to be in Palm Beach, USA Today said, as the Trump presidential campaign said it will hold a vote-counting broadcast at the Palm Beach Convention Center on the night of the election.
