What if the apartments that were sold for a lot of money were full of defects, and moving in was delayed by several months?

It's about a new apartment in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do.

Residents who are expected to move in are venting their anger.

Reporter Hong Sung-wook covered the viewer report.

an apartment complex about to be completed

With a total of 99 households and a sale price of more than 20 million won per 3.3㎡, it was called a luxury apartment in the region.

However, even though three months have passed since the scheduled date of moving in, we have not been approved for completion, let alone moving in.

The reason is that there are a lot of defects.

Water drips from the ceiling when it rains,

"This is a complete leak."The underground area of

has already been flooded.

"Is this all water?"

The inner floor joint is wide enough to see a gap, and the floor and tile are uneven.

Veranda window is misaligned and does not close properly

Dozens of places were found by residents at the time of pre-inspection of apartments.

Nevertheless, the developer applied for temporary use approval from the local government, saying that they would fix it once they moved in.

[Lee Yeon-ho / Resident to move in: We were judged that we can't go in like this, but the safety supervision and construction workers said, "You'll find out when you go in."]

As residents strongly opposed the meeting, the developer finally dropped the application for temporary use approval.

The local government said it would not approve the completion without repair of defects.

[Kim Jin-woo / Head of Chuncheon apartment building: Whether it's temporary use approval or use inspection, it's clear that we can handle it now. We are continuing to re-construct and supplement construction through supervision of the project entity or construction company.]

The developer explained that the construction was delayed little by little due to the financial shortage of the construction company, and that the process was insufficient, and that it would try to prevent damage to residents.

However, it is not known how much longer it will take to repair defects.

As suspicions of poor construction have been raised, prospective tenants, who had been inflated with expectations for a new home, are only growing pain and despondency in the endless waiting.
