President Zelensky told reporters in Reykjavik, Iceland, on a visit to attend the "Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit" that Western allies had not responded "strongly enough" to the North Korean military's participation in the war.
President Zelensky said, "The voices of Western partners, countries and China in the southern hemisphere are not as loud as they need to be for the North Korean contingent on Russian territory. This is very dangerous and a strong response is needed."
It also criticized its allies for being reluctant to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles that could strike mainland Russia out of fear of escalating tensions.
"Some countries say it crosses the red line, and Russia, if allowed, will escalate the situation, but the North Korean military's involvement in the war has heightened tensions," Zelensky said.
