The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office has sent prosecutors and investigators to the residence of A, who served as former Minister Kim's policy adviser, to secure related data this morning (31st).
After losing the 21st general election in 2020, former Vice-President Lee was hired as a full-time advisor to CJ Korea Express subsidiary of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and received a salary of 100 million won for a year.
Prosecutors are investigating allegations that former Minister Kim and former presidential chief of staff Roh Young-min used influence on Korea's complex logistics to provide former vice-president Lee's job.
Earlier in July, Roh, former Minister Kim, and the residence of Kim, a former full-time adviser to Korea Complex Logistics, were seized and searched.
