The Ministry of Education said today that it has requested an investigation into political movements and violations of the ban on collective activities by the chairman of the KTU.
Earlier, since the 22nd, the KTU has opened an appeal under the name of the chairman and an online voting channel on its website to encourage participation in the "People's Vote for the Resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol."
The page said that the school was in a mess in two and a half years of the current administration, and that the government will vote to resign because it can no longer turn a blind eye to the pain of the collapse of people's livelihoods.
The Ministry of Education believes that the KTU's inducement to participate in the vote for the purpose of resigning from the government violates the National Public Officials Act, which prohibits public officials from political activities.
However, the KTU said that a simple vote for and against is to ensure the public's expression of opinion under the constitution, and that it condemns the Yoon Suk Yeol government to overcome the crisis by encouraging union hatred and "bashing the teachers."
He also refuted that the government's unfair labor practices that interfere with and interfere with government policies are a violation of political neutrality, saying it is natural for teachers and public officials to have opinions on government policies.
