The Joint Chiefs of Staff said the Air Force's 20th Fighter Wing conducted a joint military-government-military space risk response drill for the first time.

The training was conducted in such a way that the government and the military detect and track the space object falling into the territory of the Republic of Korea, and after a ground collision, they were dispatched to the site to take measures such as radiation detection and waste collection.

Last year, the Joint Chiefs of Staff conducted the first discussion-style iconography training on responding to space risks, and this is the first time that they have conducted actual response training assuming the situation.

The Korea Astronomy and Space Administration, the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, and the National Fire Agency participated in this training.
