A foreigner who was handcuffed and fled while being taken into custody was arrested after 18 hours.

An illegal alien who fled in handcuffs during a police station arrest was caught in 18 hours.

The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency arrested a Vietnamese national in his 30s on the charge of fleeing at around 7:15 p.m. today (31st) in a residential area in Unsu-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju.

Mr. A was arrested on gambling charges at around 1 a.m. today (31st), was taken to Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station, pushed the police and fled in handcuffs on the way.

Afterwards, the police, who deployed criminal mobilization teams, said they arrested A by tracking the escape route based on CCTV screen analysis.
