Since the death of the late Sergeant Lee Ye-ram, who suffered sexual harassment, allegations of sexual violence have been raised again in the Air Force.
It has been alleged that the colonel, his direct superior, attempted to rape a female lieutenant and even committed a second attack, and the Air Force expressed regret and said it would actively cooperate with the civilian police's investigation.

The Military Sexual Violence Counseling Center, affiliated with the Military Human Rights Center, claimed that a female lieutenant of the 17th Fighter Wing of the Air Force suffered sexual violence from her immediate superior, Jeon Dae-jang.
The counseling center held a press conference and reported the contents of the consultation, saying that Lieutenant A was molested by Colonel B at a company dinner in August, and that he was about to be sexually assaulted at the official residence after the company dinner on the 24th of last month.
Lieutenant A stated to the counseling center that Colonel B touched his hand and pressured him to go to the official residence, saying, "If you stay in the air force, you will see me three times."
Afterwards, when he said he would go back to his accommodation, Colonel B said he tried to rape him by using his physical force.Lieutenant
A informed the Air Force of the damage, and Colonel B was separated into different units, but some claimed that Colonel B made a secondary offense to the executives who attended the dinner, recording while conducting a guided newspaper as if Lieutenant A had seduced him under the influence of alcohol.
[Kim Sook-kyung / Director of Military Sexual Violence Counseling Center: The victim is a victim of sexual violence and feels that he is not receiving proper protection and support from the Air Force. There is widespread distrust of the Air Force. This is largely the responsibility of the Air Force for not doing anything to prevent secondary damage.
While the Military Human Rights Center insists that the 17th Wing commander and the Air Force Headquarters Inspection Department should also be severely punished, the Air Force expressed regret that the incident occurred despite continuous gender education and said it would thoroughly investigate and punish the second report.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant A reportedly filed a complaint with the Ministry of National Defense's investigation headquarters, claiming that he had also received a bribe request from Colonel B.
The Military Human Rights Center has received a complaint against Colonel B on charges of forced harassment and rape and injury to the National Investigation Headquarters.
