The Korea Communications Commission held the "2024 International OTT Forum" at Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel yesterday (31st).
The forum, which was held for the third time this year, was attended by domestic OTT operators such as Wave, TVing and Coupang Play, global companies such as Walt Disney Company, and multinational advertising and public relations companies.
Participants discussed OTT's success strategy, market trends in countries that are expected to enter, such as the Middle East, and the win-win development of platforms and contents.
Kim Tae-kyu, acting chairman of the Korea Communications Commission, said, "The biggest task is to distribute Korean content to more viewers in the country," adding, "We will continue to support the OTT industry based on the measures discussed at this event."
