Justice Minister Park Sung-jae drew a line on the possibility of a transfer from the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in the "suspected involvement in the nomination of Myung Tae-kyun," saying, "I'm working hard in Changwon, so do I need anything else to say?"

Minister Park said during a visit to the Busan High School and District Prosecutors' Office today (1st), "The prosecution will handle it appropriately according to the need for an investigation."

Minister Park also said at the National Assembly's parliamentary inspection last month that he would watch the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office investigation, saying, "The prosecution will provide good support as necessary."

is suspected of providing 81 polls worth 375 million won to President Yoon Suk Yeol ahead of the last presidential election, and receiving a promise from First Lady Kim Gun-hee to nominate former National Assembly member Kim Young-sun.

The Gyeongnam Provincial Election Commission accused former lawmaker Kim of handing over 90 million won to Myung after his election, and Changwon District Prosecutors' Office is currently investigating related allegations.

Separately, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office is reviewing the law after allocating a case in which a civic group accused Myung and Yoon of violating the Public Official Election Act.
