Governor Kim, who is visiting Europe, urged the president to express his position on the alleged intervention of the nomination in his speech, saying on social media, "The November 4th speech should be held in front of the people and should not be passed on to the 'Prime Minister of Germany'.
He added, "We should accept the special prosecution regarding the allegations against the president himself and the first lady and at least express our willingness to focus on the economy and people's livelihoods," adding, "I hope you don't follow in the footsteps of former President Park Geun Hye."
