Contract to Introduce 'Mitier' Air-to-Air Missile with Korean KF-21

The Defense Acquisition Program Administration said on the 30th of last month that it signed a contract to introduce a long-range air-to-air missile "Mitier" to be mounted on a domestic supersonic fighter jet KF-21.

The DAPA said that this contract will allow 100 mittier 1st batch to be introduced in time for the 1st mass production of KF-21.

Mittier, manufactured by European MBDA, is known to fly at a top speed of Mach 4.5 and have the ability to intercept fighter jets from 200 kilometers away.
