Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Zhen responded when asked about his stance on comments by Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, who said he was surprised by China's silence on sending troops to North Korea during a regular briefing."We have noted some recent relevant reports and the reaction of each party," spokesman
Lynn said. "North Korea is two independent sovereign states, and how to develop bilateral relations is their own business."
Some analysts say that China may have virtually recognized the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia.
However, spokesman Lin still added, "China is not aware of the specific situation of bilateral exchanges and cooperation between North Korea and Russia."
"China's position on the Ukraine crisis is consistent and clear," he said. "Each party should drive easing of the situation and strive for a political solution to the Ukraine crisis."
